Q. One of my mates says that I am copying this other girl’s style but I like what I wear! We are similar, what should I do? Please help!

A.Oh no! It’s horrible when someone criticises your own personal style. It is actually a very common problem. Your friend could just be feeling insecure about her own style (or lack of it) and is choosing to get at you because of it. Fashion is all about emulating different styles and unless this other girl goes round dressed in a superhero outfit or adorned head to toe in silver pvc of course there are going to be things you both like.
Even some of the worlds most famous and stylish people end up in the same outfits every now and again. As long as you stick to what is true to you and your own personal taste you have nothing to worry about. Try and seek out unusual things to wear that are not on the high street. That way you are less likely to come across someone with the same clobber as you.
I like shopping in second hand stores and making and customising my own clothes to be sure my individuality remains intact. Please try not to let it get to you, if people didn't generally all like the same things at the same time the fashion industry wouldn't exist. Don't ever let anyone tell you how you should dress, stick to what YOU like and you can't go wrong.

That is very good advice miss Heidi :D
i find even if i wear a hoody top, adding lots of beads and badges makes me stand out from the crowd, get sparkly type shoelaces for your converse. For make up buy some different coloured eyeliner and put some flicks at the corner of your eyes :)
Oooo and also, i am going to try sewing some buttons on the outside of my converse :)

If your friend is a real friend she shouldn't criticise you! Why not make friends with the girl you are similar to, wear the same type of clothes and be proud!!

Help, i dont really have a best friend at my new school because everyone already has one and the three-some idea isnt working either i just get left out. Help!

oh my god why would u copy some one especialy if your famous because more people would see it! I think its a bit of a joke when u ask me.
