Q. hello heidi, i have loads and loads of old pin badges gathering dust in a draw. they have phrases, pictures, band names and anything else you can fit on a pin badge. the thing is i would really like to wear them more but i don't want to look like an idiot with hundreds of them pinned to me. any ideas?

A. Well Sarah, firstly, how LUCKY are you?? A fab draw crammed with pin badges is my absolute dream! I love badges and a cool collection of random ones is the stuff that dreams are made of. Secondly, get them out of the dark and get them on everything you own!
The great thing about badges is they are detachable so once you are out and about sporting them you can take a few off/add a few to transform your look. I bet Lilly Allen (below) did just that with her nu rave smiley. I prefer Giselle's look, there is nothing better than a bit of faded denim covered top to bottom in badges. WOO HOO!
Seriously if you are not the crazy extravagant type why not wear a small cluster of them in the corner of a plain sweat or tee. Or buy one of those cheap cotton totes/army bags and cover the whole thing in them. Once you have got started there is no stopping it. You will have badges on everything!
If you are unsure where to start have a badge party! Invite your mates round for cocktails and nibbles give them a free badge each and get them to help you pimp out your wardrobe in the most badge-tastic way possible!
Oh and remember to send me some photos of the finished masterpeices (Just so I can go green with envy!) For those of you that want to try out a fun pin badge look why not check out our badge packs!

thanks for the help heidi! i've been experimenting a bit with my badges so i should hopefully have some pictures soon. though my photography skills aren't brilliant! xx

I GOT ONE OF THEM BADGE MAKERS FOR CHRISTMAS AND IM PLANIN TO MAKE ONES WITH PICS OF MY MATES ON IT AND ALL THAT THEN STILL A LOAD ON MY SPONDGEBOB BAG :D

I collect badges on my guitar gig bag, wherever I travel I always have peeps checking it out. I LOVE BADGES! They make the world go round! x
