Q. It's the summer holidays and I am broke and totally BOOOOORED! Have you got any fun projects you could suggest to help me make something cheap and fun?

A. Hi Sara, Everyone hates being bored and If you can't go shopping to relieve it, it can get very frustrating! I have a great project for you to jazz up an old pair of shoes. This appeared in 'NEET' magazine a few months ago as an HS DIY project. It is perfect for revamping an existing pair of shoes or if you don't have any suitable ones I am sure your budget can stretch to Primark/your local thrift store.

Hey Alice, I got the shoes from good old Primark but have a look in your local charity shop. You will be surprised what you can find, most of my shoes in this style are second hand.

eeeek i was totally broke for my best friends birthday, so i popped to poundland LOL for some stuff to put on them, and to primark for some heels. &&then i made her some shoes. she loved them ;D

When i saw this it inspired me 2 do something simmilar! I brought bright pink neon pumps from asda. Then i stuck loadsa heidi charms on and a little pink sword which i got from kinder surprise! They lukd so amazing every1 asked about them but i wore them2 much and they gt mishmashed lol! I'm hoping 2 make sum new 1s that r simmilar! bye xxxxx

i love all these funky little things. this is an awesome site. i am getting loads of little things from here for my birthday (not until may).
