Q. Heidi! I am a massive fan of vintage clothes and accessories! However, such items are being sold for quite a lot on EBay, and I've noticed that some things are getting quite pricey in vintage boutiques! I can longer afford to pay such ridiculous amounts! Where else can I hunt for vintage treats?
A. "Another person's junk is another person's treasure!", David Dickinson once said! Try finding out if you have a local car boot sale in your area. Lots of bric 'a' brac to be bought!
Be prepared for early mornings though as they tend to start really early! Don't snooze or you will lose out to other bargain hunters!
I once found some second hand Jimmy Choos heels for £12! In my size too! It was really worth waking up early for! Cheap as chips!
It's lots of fun and you can even barter for a discount!

Once I found an amazinly gawjuss necklace in a local charity shop. U can find stuff almost everywhere. Oh and Heidi's right bootsales are awesome... oh and skool fates. u'd b amazed at what u can find there! x

Some good shops in Digbeth, Birmingham, are Vintage, the big yellow shop.
I actually live in there.
God it's brilliant.
Also, the custard factory saturday flea market.
I got a loverly dress and some well good accessories from there.

if u live in the yorkshire area then check out the charity shops in harrogate and otley they r pretty rich areas and you can find some good designer stuff there + always look in primark i found a GORGEOUS dress there very 1950s which is what i like

Sometimes things around u are vintage but you just dont realise. I have recently started getting intrested in vintage items. My dad got a newspaper from the 30's of a friend and i got 2 keep it! woop woop : )
Plus a while ago there was an old green checked clip around the house so i asked my mum about it as i was hunting 4 vintage stuff and it turns out it was my sisters wen she was young and it's from about 1984! I was v happy bout that lol! xxx 80s*wham*girl xxx
