i am dying to become a designer in the future and to have my own business. do you have any advice? where i could intern around london or ways to go about it and impress? thanks - please write me back !

Well I know the feeling, and as long as your persistent and dedicated your dream will happen for you.
Have you considered doing a fashion degree as many courses have a placement year as part of it, where you will be given the opportunity to find work and intern with fashion companies all over the world. And a degree can teach you so much about yourself and your own design identity and can get your foot in the door with many places. However if you don't want to go this route it will mean writing a lot of letters and emails and applying for anything. If you want to go to London you'd have to be willing to accept unpaid placements and prove your worth as a designer by starting at the bottom, and working your way up. Be persistent with people, and if there's somewhere you really want to work try and convince them how much you want to work there and why you would be perfect to work within their company. Get yourself noticed by sending your own work and make it look really individual and special.
