Q.
I'm going to T in the park this year for a day and want to look great but not freeze my butt off!!!
HELP PLEASE!!!
Gillian
A.
Wooooo T in the Park should be good this year, but Scotland does have unpredictable weather, so you have to be prepared for hot cold and wet conditions.
Hmmmmm.
Check out your wardrobe and see what you can layer up. We'd all hope for sun, so if you go in a summery dress or vest top with jeans so you look good, but take a warm cardi or hoody that can fit in your bag. Also you might want to invest in a little kagoool in a bag and wellies! I know kagools have a bit of a lame rep, but they are coming back big time!!! Primark are doing some cute patterned ones that fit in their own tiny patterned pouch, so you don't even know your carrying them. They are a life saver if and when the heavens open. Also places like George at Asda are doing cheap wellies that have really cute prints on, less country bumpkin, more festival chic!!!
Have fun!!!

Hey Heidi,
Could you give us advice on turning scene and emo? And how can you help us make the most of clothes we already have, to save having to buy loads more?

Hey, I was wondering..can't raver and emo kinda be mixed together? Like, emo raver. It might sound stupid but just wondering and if so, how would you do that to mix it?

Hey everyone!!!!
Well we've had a lot of ask Heidi's about scene, emo and ravers recently. The best advice I could give anyone is to just go with your own style. There are no rules when it comes to fashion!! You can mix any looks if you want to. If you think it looks good and it makes you feel confident, go for it!! Sure you might have a few fashion distasters on the way to becoming a style goddess but its all part of the style journey. It sounds cliché but being yourself is the best thing you can do, if you feel comfortable in your own style, your confidence shines through and everyone will want to be as cool as you!
When it comes to creating your own look, customizing your clothes is really fun, and a cheap way to revitalize your wardrobe, you can get fabric paints from craft shops and decorate t-shirts with your favorite slogans and images. You can also get stuff called heat transfere paper which goes through your printer and you can iron it onto any fabric with any image you want. Its fun to be super creative ☺
Its great to experiment with make-up too, magazines always have good articles and tips of how to apply new looks, I love watching the make-up tutorials on youtube ☺
I couldn't live without my liquid eyeliner!!!
Hope all this helps

Q. Heyy Heidi,
I need help... i've been designing and making clothes + accesories for a while now but i seem to of run out of inspiration, got any tips to get it flowing again?!
Thanks a bunch
Aliiice Xx
PS. Your website is awesome, i love your fawn stuff <3
A. Hey there Alice!
That's fab that you're designing and making!! Those creative juices can dry out every now and again though! What i'd suggest would be to flick through magazines and visit shops to see what's out there at the moment. Make sure you've got a notepad and a camera handy to snapshot those hidden gems when you're out and about! That way you'll always have fresh ideas and images that can help you get inspiration :D

Hey Heidi x :)
I recently heard about this website and was really interested.
So, my birthday is coming up and if I get money for my birthday (fingers crossed!) I though I'd but something from the website. But the trouble is, there's so many things to choose from!(oh and also, I'm not looking to spend too much money.) Have you got any suggestions?
Chaz
P.S: I'm loving the stereo themed items and also I love things that are personalised.
A.
Hey Chaz,
Its always good to hear from new Heidi Fans :-)
Hmmmmmmm for cheap birthday treats I'd suggest a funky name necklace, and seeing as you like stereo themed stuff, what about the Personalised Mini Cassette.
And as a cheap little extra you could get the a cool Tape Purse, its only £6!!!
Hope this helps!!!!!

Q.
I really want to learn how to sew so i can turns my designs into realy clothes and accessorys but i dont know whats the best way to practise have you got any adivce or tips on where to start:D it would be a great help thankss xx kathrynn xx
A.
Hey Kathryn!
If you head along to your local haberdashery and pick up some thread and needles, you could start by making some really cute cushions and embroidering them. Then you'll end up learning little sewing stitches and patterns :)
You could also search the web for sewing blogs or even pattern cutting blogs (which you need to make clothes).
Pattern cutting is really tricky for absolute beginners! So I'd suggest learning cool embroidery patterns and different ways of customising clothes you already have.
For example, cutting the necklines in different ways, adding iron-on patches to jeans or skirts or getting an embroidery hoop and some thick colourful threads and let your imagine run wild!
Hope that helps!

I've got a really huge party coming up and a want to look great!!! but a don't know how to make this plain dress iv'e got stylish!! please help me it's an emergency!!!!
luv erinxxx
A.
Erin! Well its all about the accessories, It's rare that I wear a dress without a killer belt. My fave place to shop for them is vintage shops, they always have a ace collection and they just 'make' the outfit.
If its a dark dress have a look out for something bright with a show stopping clasp.
New Look also have a good selection at the minute newlook.co.uk/belts
they also have some george chunky statement necklaces that I've got my eye on!
Have a think about hair accessories too Erin, we have some great fascinators in at the minute that look awesome on :)
Have a fab party!!!! Heidi xxx

Q.
Dear Heidi,
My friend is moving to a completely different country and I doubt I'll see her again. I want to get her something special but it has to be light or else she would have to leave it behind. Help!
Cx
A.
Hello Kiera and Connie! Well, Kiera we've been having a think here at Heidi Towers... how about getting her a bag like the 'Sunny Bag', its totally individual with it's immense amount of amazing neon charms. It's bound to bring a smile to her face.
Or how about the Mini Boombox *with speakers*? You could even make her a playlist for her to put on her i-pod so she would think of you every time she's blasting the tunes from her amazing gift!
Connie and also Kiera, have a look at the Best Friends Bag Charm or a Best friends Necklace. It would look really sweet with you and your BBF's name on it, so she will be sure to always remember what a great friend you are AND if you got the Bag Charm she could hang it off a cute bag. AWESOME!

Hey Holllie! Well heres an idea, why not get her a Personalised Name Necklace? They are really individual and there's a selection of awesome designs to choose from. If you're best buds take a look at the Best Friends Name Necklace. You're bound to find one she will LOVE!
Take a look this Summer Treats card too. It's certain to bring an extra smile to her day :D
For an extra fancy treat for her she might like the Set of Four Chocolate Balms (they smell totally AMAZING)
Hope this helps and that she loves her prezzies!
